Which CL path was the "hardest" for United...?

Man u didn't deserve to be in the final last year. Chelsea were the strongest team they faced but they were not in good. real madrid trashed ac milan 4-2,Ajex 6-0, axurre 5-0,Lyon 4-1,tottenham 5-0 so it clear we were the best side till semi-final. Uefa Champions league semi-final was the final apparently.
