Some great books for a 12 year old girl?

My sister, she is 12, and she needs some good books to get from the public library. She dosn't want to start a series right now, maybe later on. She LOVES Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and books like The Gift Moves by Steve Lyon. Any suggestions, she also likes Sarah Dessen novels. Thanks in advance!
