I wont say I know how you feel because I dont. however I know how hard it is to trus a person like that. I mean its hard for a father who tried to strangle your mother right in front of you to get on your good side and get your trust. (My case) So If I were you I would spend a bit of time with him say when ppl are around so that your comfortable and get to know him slowly and gradually. But its up to you girl.
