Does this sound like an interesting story?

Uhmm...so I was taking a shower one day and I suddenly had a small idea. To write a book. But what about? Well a couple of days later I was just surfing the net about greek mythology and stuff and decided to write about,duh, greek mythology. But in fact, it's a story 'bout a boy (or girl,haven't really decided. I want it to be unique) that learns of the betrayal that happened centuries ago to Zeus and his family by other gods who were power hungry. Zeus imprisoned them in a dimensional-portal kind of prison (including his own daughter) but a particular god who wasn't captured set them free and they started wreaking havoc across the earth. The main character tries to help Zeus re-imprison the evil gods but Zeus get's murdered in the process. Anyways, don't wanna reveal much more but I wanted the communities opinion? What'cha think? Or maybe I need to give more detail?
